Joe is an editor equally at home cutting intimate personal stories or high concept sci-fi. Drawing on a varied cultural background- with part-maori and british parents- and a 20 year editing career that has ranged from no-budget grime videos to multi award-winning television drama, Joe has a razor sharp understanding of story, character and tone.

"Whether scenes require drama, thrills, horror, tension, suspense or comedy - Joe is an expert at grounding these elements or blending them when necessary, and he has a broad, well honed technical understanding - that crucially - never clouds the emotionally nuanced, musical nature of his cuts. " - Johnny Allan

His feature film work includes THE WASP, starring Naomi Harris and Natalie Dormer and RADIATOR, which won the inaugural Audience award at the Glasgow Film Festival, and the Grand Jury Prize at the Dallas International Film Festival in 2015. His recent TV work includes Amazon’s THE DEVIL’S HOUR, the BBC’S IN MY SKIN, Sky’s I HATE SUZIE, BBC comedy INSIDE NO.9; an adaptation of Evelyn Waugh’s ‘DECLINE AND FALL’, Channel 4’s crime thriller RUN, starring Olivia Coleman; David Walliams’ BBC TV adaptations, and SKY comedy MOONE BOY.
